The osprey are stealing the show these days as they build nests in Clam Bayou.

In the upper creek today we floated within feet of a young osprey as calmly rested on an overhanging limb. To date it’s the closest I’ve ever been to one! The visitors from Washington were also impressed by how close you can be to a snake and not see it!  

Snakes Alive!

A lady from New York was introduced to a Florida bayou today by having a 5 ft alligator leap from the shore and over the front of her kayak – needless to say it was the highlite of her visit to Florida!
